Candace Moeller is our founder, Board Chairman and visionary.
Candace is a proud Ohio native, born and raised in Spencerville, Ohio. Candace is a successful businesswoman and business owner who began her professional career by working her way through the ranks of the largest flooring manufacturer in the world. She became the first woman to attain the level of General Sales Manager. Later in her career, and at the request of her father, she became the Executive Vice President of the family's polyurethane foam manufacturing business, a global supplier of high-quality foam products with facilities nationwide. Candace managed the company through many successful and transitional years, ultimately leading the family through the profitable sale of their company assets. Following the sale of her family's corporation, Candace served as President of an industrial real estate and farming firm until 2022.
In 2019, after having witnessed a close family friend endure cancer, yet attain a state of remission through use of medical cannabis products, Candace sought and obtained a license for an Ohio-based cannabis processor and Innovative Healing Solutions (IHS) was formed. Candace joined the medical cannabis industry to make a difference in the lives of Ohioans and offer them a natural alternative in their choice of how to heal. Remaining true to her small-town roots and values, Candace’s desire to “give back” may be seen through the patient-focused processes and products that are the heart of the IHS lab. Her unequivocal focus on ethical business practices, utilization of local suppliers and services, and doing things the "right way" set the path for the IHS team to produce some of the purest and most effective medical grade cannabis products within the State.

Lab Director
Andrew Tilmann
Born and raised in Michigan and is a lifelong promoter and supporter of holistic plant medicine, specifically medical marijuana. Andrew began his career in Ohio after graduating from Western Michigan University with a Chemical Engineering Bachelor’s degree. Andrew joined a team of engineers, holding the position of project engineer, on a brand-new build of a 100% recycled paper mill in Wapakoneta. Though this career path had a bright future, his true passion was and still is medical marijuana. Years went by looking for opportunities to become involved with marijuana in Ohio, until one day in 2019 Andrew met Candace Moeller.
Candace and Andrew shared the same vision and mission for medical marijuana: to provide the highest quality medicine possible for patients seeking a holistic alternative to pharmaceutical drugs. Andrew began working with IHS in November 2020 while project work and construction was still ongoing. Andrew supported the IHS team in completing the processing lab construction, commissioning of process equipment, standardizing processing procedures, and creating the initial processed product lines that would make it to the Ohio medical marijuana market by the end of 2021.
In his current role as the Lab Director at IHS, Andrew oversees all daily operations at the processing lab, manages business relations, and ensures compliance. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing sports, lifting weights, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Chad Reynolds
Born and raised in Spencerville, Ohio, Chad came to IHS in autumn of 2020 after a successful 20-year career as a professional geologist in the environmental consulting industry. While Chad enjoyed the challenges and technical aspects of his previous career, he desired a more fulfilling path in a field that would positively impact people’s lives and truly make a difference. In his role as IHS Production Manager, Chad oversees daily production activities and with a focus on product quality and maintaining our patient-first approach.
Facilities and Security Manager
Kevin Litsey
A life-long resident of Allen County, Kevin came to Innovative Healing Solutions in 2020 after retiring from a 25-year career in law enforcement. Seeing first-hand the destruction caused by opioid addiction and abuse of other synthetic drugs, combined with a strong desire to help others, made Kevin’s transition into the IHS family a natural one. Kevin believes helping others is not only good for them, but helps create a stronger community overall.
In his role as IHS Facilities and Security Manager, Kevin maintains our buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure that our lab is safe and functional. Kevin also oversees IHS delivery transportation and all aspects of our security program.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends…and using any excuse to be outdoors.

Sharon McCormick
As a life-long resident of Spencerville, Ohio, Sharon brings a commitment to the community. She dedicated almost fifty years of her life to the Moeller family in its various local companies and now has focused her efforts in making a difference in patient's lives at IHS. With over four decades of experience in accounting, payroll, pricing, accounts payable and human resources, Sharon possesses a wealth of knowledge in administration and accounting. Making a positive impact in others' lives is her personal passion. Sharon enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Shonda Hall
Raised in Wapakoneta, Ohio, Shonda came to IHS in the Fall of 2021 after spending 2 1/2 years as dispensary budtender in the Ohio cannabis industry. While Shonda enjoyed being with the Ohio patients and working with many different areas of the medical cannabis dispensary, she wished for a position that would more fully utilize her business degree, while still engaging with patients in the medical marijuana space. In her role as IHS Sales Manager, Shonda oversees daily sales activities with a focus on dispensary sales and maintaining our patient-first approach.
In her free time, Shonda enjoys spending time with her family, planting succulents, and snuggling with her dog Jax.

Gavin Peare
Gavin joined the IHS team as Production Lead in spring of 2021 after a short career in warehousing and inventory management. While Gavin enjoyed the incredibly exciting world of inventory and warehousing, he came to the medical marijuana industry seeking a more impactful and meaningful career path. In his role as Production Lead, Gavin is involved in the extraction and refinement of cannabis oils and production of our finished products.
